Original author’s interpretation summary
Read together with the first casting, the host-position line’s Chou Earth changes to Wu Fire, producing returning generation. The author also notes that the changed Wu Fire is clashed by the Zi month and thus month-broken. Cycle void, month break and line changes are handled separately.
Outcome reported in the book
The text says the person departed on Yi-Mao, later found matters going well in the Yin and Mao months and returned fully laden. These are the author’s retrospective reports, not independently verified by the site.
Site review boundaries
- Old yin at line four changes Mingyi to Feng, matching the text.
- Xin-Hai has Yin–Mao void. Zi month clashes with Wu, so month break applies to the changed Wu Fire, not the original Chou Earth line at the host position.
- Dates and returns are retained only to reconstruct the author’s reasoning, not for the site’s timing predictions or financial judgments.
Reading boundaries
Reported outcomes represent the original author’s account, not independent historical verification. This case is not an automatic interpretation template for a user’s present result.
Topic tags identify structures involved in this case, not divinatory efficacy verified by the site.
Working translation of the site’s Chinese editorial case review, not a translation of the classical source. Native-language review is pending; original source names and locators remain in Chinese.
Ten-day-cycle void
Structural implementation
The day’s ten-day cycle determines two void branches. Both works discuss further conditions involving phase strength, changing or unchanging lines, and clashes that fill the void. This site calculates only the day pillar’s cycle and void branches and lists the relevant line positions; it does not apply subsequent judgments such as being void yet not void.
Cycle void is a calendrical structure, not a statement that an undertaking is ineffective. It does not automatically determine outcomes or timing.
Month break / day clash
Fixed clash implementation
Month break is the branch clashing with the month reference, and day clash is the branch clashing with the day reference. Both works discuss strength and changing/unchanging conditions further. The site lists month break, day clash and their line positions separately, without merging them into a fortune judgment.
Each clash must identify its reference. No ineffectiveness, timing or real-world success or failure is inferred automatically.
Return generation / control
Five-phase relation implementation
Returning generation and control compare only the changed phase acting back on the original phase of an actual changing line: the changed line generates or controls the original line. The site does not invent additional names for same-phase, draining or consuming relations, or for the original line acting on the changed line.
These names describe direction only. They do not independently determine the author’s reported outcome and are not converted into scores.
