Original author’s interpretation summary

The author identifies inner-trigram Hai–Mao–Wei as a Wood group and outer-trigram Si–You–Chou as a Metal group, then compares them. Li and Kun being six-clash hexagrams is also used to explain dispersal of the dispute. The case checks separate inner and outer groups, not one group made from all six branches.

Outcome reported in the book

The text records resolution through mediation without litigation. This is only the author’s report; the site has no local archives or participant records to verify it.

Site review boundaries

  1. Old-yang lines at positions one, three, four and six change Li to Kun, matching the text.
  2. Inner Hai–Mao–Wei and outer Si–You–Chou each meet the site’s trine activation convention. The two groups must not be merged into a vague label.
  3. Mapping the two villages to inner and outer trigrams and extending this to litigation is historical interpretation, not a site judgment of present-day disputes.

Reading boundaries

Reported outcomes represent the original author’s account, not independent historical verification. This case is not an automatic interpretation template for a user’s present result.

Topic tags identify structures involved in this case, not divinatory efficacy verified by the site.

Working translation of the site’s Chinese editorial case review, not a translation of the classical source. Native-language review is pending; original source names and locators remain in Chinese.

Trines

Two-level implementation

Zengshan Buyi lists activation patterns involving three moving branches, two moving and one static branch, and completion through changes in the inner or outer trigram. Yilin Buyi also discusses a partial combination missing one branch. This site treats three branches present in the original hexagram as a chart structure, then checks activation separately against the approved conditions.

A missing branch supplied by the month or day is reference information only, not an activated trine. No phase transformation, fortune judgment or predicted timing is generated automatically.

Six clashes

Fixed branch-pair implementation

The site separates clashes between individual line branches, clashes of month or day references with line branches, and the traditional six-clash hexagram classification. Six fixed branch pairs are calculable, but these different levels cannot be merged just because they share a name.

Six clash is a structural term, not an automatic statement of separation, failure or a change in illness.
