Original author’s interpretation summary
The author selects the Hai Water line at the host position, line four, as Yongshen. The changing Wei Earth line at the top is Jishen that could control Water, but the You Metal Yuanshen line at line five also changes, forming Earth generating Metal and Metal generating Water. Yet Hai Water is month-broken and controlled by the day, described as a rootless Yongshen line. A changing Yuanshen line alone cannot settle the judgment.
Outcome reported in the book
The text records death on Gui-Mao and interprets Mao day as clashing away the You Metal Yuanshen line. Person, disease, year and medical history are missing, preventing independent site verification.
Site review boundaries
- Old yang at line five and old yin at line six change Daguo to Ding, matching the text.
- Successive generation, month break and day control of Yongshen are parallel conditions. A Yuanshen line’s presence must not automatically imply a favorable result.
- Illness and death are retained only for historical rule review, not modern diagnosis, treatment or lifespan judgments.
Reading boundaries
Reported outcomes represent the original author’s account, not independent historical verification. This case is not an automatic interpretation template for a user’s present result.
Topic tags identify structures involved in this case, not divinatory efficacy verified by the site.
Working translation of the site’s Chinese editorial case review, not a translation of the classical source. Native-language review is pending; original source names and locators remain in Chinese.
Generating / controlling relations
Candidate relation implementation
Yuanshen, Jishen and Choushen are derived from the phase of the Yongshen explicitly chosen by the user. Both works discuss movement, strength, void, break and other lines together. The site lists candidate relations only; it does not choose the Yongshen automatically or score strength.
Free-text questions are not read to choose a Yongshen for the user. The presence of a Yuanshen or Jishen does not directly produce a fortune judgment.
Five-phase generation / control
Basic relation implementation
Five-phase generation and control underlie Najia Six Relations, returning generation/control, and Yuanshen/Jishen relationships. Cases may use several generation/control chains together with void, break, combinations and clashes. The site preserves each fact instead of reducing complex conditions to a score.
Basic generating and controlling relations are calculable. A historical author’s interpretation remains a separate layer, not a uniquely authoritative conclusion.
Month break / day clash
Fixed clash implementation
Month break is the branch clashing with the month reference, and day clash is the branch clashing with the day reference. Both works discuss strength and changing/unchanging conditions further. The site lists month break, day clash and their line positions separately, without merging them into a fortune judgment.
Each clash must identify its reference. No ineffectiveness, timing or real-world success or failure is inferred automatically.
