Original author’s interpretation summary

The author notes that Gen’s Descendants line matches the seventh-month reference while the Jishen line remains unchanged, then considers prolonged illness together with the book’s six-clash hexagram classification. The site checks month, static line pattern and classification only, not this historical illness judgment as a prediction of present conditions.

Outcome reported in the book

The text records the daughter’s death on Wu-Wu in Zi month. This is the author’s medical-related report, without identity, year, medical records or other historical evidence for independent verification.

Site review boundaries

  1. The seventh lunar month is recorded as Shen. Gen’s third-line Shen Metal is Descendants in the site’s Najia chart, matching the source’s focus line at the month reference.
  2. Gen is static, with yin, yin, yang, yin, yin, yang from bottom to top. There are no changing lines and no resulting hexagram.
  3. Six clash is displayed only as a later divination whole-hexagram classification, not modern diagnosis, prognosis, treatment selection or guidance on when to seek care.

Reading boundaries

Reported outcomes represent the original author’s account, not independent historical verification. This case is not an automatic interpretation template for a user’s present result.

Topic tags identify structures involved in this case, not divinatory efficacy verified by the site.

Working translation of the site’s Chinese editorial case review, not a translation of the classical source. Native-language review is pending; original source names and locators remain in Chinese.

Month and day branches

Calendrical structure implementation

The month reference uses the branch of the solar-term month; the day reference uses the day branch for the selected time-zone date. Zengshan Buyi and Yilin Buyi both use these references in subsequent discussions of strength, generation, control, clashes and combinations. The site calculates them with its calendar engine and cross-checks the month and day recorded in each case.

Month and day are chart references, not independent fortune judgments. A classical case without a year cannot identify a unique Gregorian date.

Six clashes

Fixed branch-pair implementation

The site separates clashes between individual line branches, clashes of month or day references with line branches, and the traditional six-clash hexagram classification. Six fixed branch pairs are calculable, but these different levels cannot be merged just because they share a name.

Six clash is a structural term, not an automatic statement of separation, failure or a change in illness.
