Original author’s interpretation summary
The author first lists adverse conditions: a Descendants line at the host position and a Siblings line also changing, and no visible Parents/document line. The day then controls or clashes with changing lines, and Si-month Parents is selected as a hidden line through this book’s method, interpreted as good within adversity. The site reviews these parallel conditions without applying imperial-examination cases to modern examinations.
Outcome reported in the book
The text records entry into the prefectural school with first rank. Person, year, region and examination archives are not supplied, preventing independent verification.
Site review boundaries
- Old yang at line three and old yin at line four change Xu to Dui, matching the text.
- The document hidden line comes from Yilin Buyi’s system. The site’s current algorithm may produce a different structure, and that difference must be retained.
- This belongs to the historical imperial-examination context, not advice on modern admission, examination ranking or education choices.
Reading boundaries
Reported outcomes represent the original author’s account, not independent historical verification. This case is not an automatic interpretation template for a user’s present result.
Topic tags identify structures involved in this case, not divinatory efficacy verified by the site.
Working translation of the site’s Chinese editorial case review, not a translation of the classical source. Native-language review is pending; original source names and locators remain in Chinese.
Month and day branches
Calendrical structure implementation
The month reference uses the branch of the solar-term month; the day reference uses the day branch for the selected time-zone date. Zengshan Buyi and Yilin Buyi both use these references in subsequent discussions of strength, generation, control, clashes and combinations. The site calculates them with its calendar engine and cross-checks the month and day recorded in each case.
Month and day are chart references, not independent fortune judgments. A classical case without a year cannot identify a unique Gregorian date.
