Original author’s interpretation summary

The author lists Chen Earth Wealth as void and Wei Earth Wealth as month-broken, then selects month-matching Chou Earth Wealth through this book’s hidden/visible method. Mao day controlling Wealth is interpreted as not obtaining it that day. Void, month break, day control and a different hidden-line method coexist and cannot be reduced to one conclusion.

Outcome reported in the book

The text records obtaining nothing that day but double the financial gain on Jia-Chen the next day. Person, property, year and transaction records are absent; this is only an author report.

Site review boundaries

  1. Shihe is static. The site can check its pattern, Chen–Si void in Gui-Mao’s Jia-Wu cycle, and Chou month clashing with Wei.
  2. The source’s Xun-palace Chou Earth hidden line belongs to its own system, not the site’s missing-category result. The page records the difference only.
  3. This wealth report is not modern investment, lending or transaction advice, nor part of automatic timing predictions.

Reading boundaries

Reported outcomes represent the original author’s account, not independent historical verification. This case is not an automatic interpretation template for a user’s present result.

Topic tags identify structures involved in this case, not divinatory efficacy verified by the site.

Working translation of the site’s Chinese editorial case review, not a translation of the classical source. Native-language review is pending; original source names and locators remain in Chinese.

Hidden lines

Limited implementation

The site follows Bushi Zhengzong: search for a hidden line only when a Six Relations category is entirely absent from the original hexagram, taking the matching position in the pure hexagram of its palace. Yilin Buyi instead uses a yin–yang interchange system in which every line has hidden and visible counterparts; that is a separate method.

The adopted convention must be stated. The two systems’ hidden-line positions must not be combined, and their generating or controlling relations do not automatically produce fortune judgments.

Ten-day-cycle void

Structural implementation

The day’s ten-day cycle determines two void branches. Both works discuss further conditions involving phase strength, changing or unchanging lines, and clashes that fill the void. This site calculates only the day pillar’s cycle and void branches and lists the relevant line positions; it does not apply subsequent judgments such as being void yet not void.

Cycle void is a calendrical structure, not a statement that an undertaking is ineffective. It does not automatically determine outcomes or timing.

Month break / day clash

Fixed clash implementation

Month break is the branch clashing with the month reference, and day clash is the branch clashing with the day reference. Both works discuss strength and changing/unchanging conditions further. The site lists month break, day clash and their line positions separately, without merging them into a fortune judgment.

Each clash must identify its reference. No ineffectiveness, timing or real-world success or failure is inferred automatically.
